Rock & Roar is the story of Miles Kitteridge, a streetwise feline and aspiring young musician who’s trying to find his place in the world. The year is 1984 in New York City, and he’s just been hired as an assistant for a New Wave band who are about to set off on an exciting and dangerous cross-country concert tour.

Rock & Roar is a love letter to popular music history and a comedy adventure for all ages. The comic updates with a new page every Saturday between the hours of 8pm and 9pm PST.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi! I’m Abigail Muñoz. I’m a Los Angeles-based concept artist working in animation and gaming, and Rock & Roar is my personal project.

My love of music started with my dad, who DJ’d all throughout the 80s and amassed a huge record collection. From the time I was little, he showed me how to listen attentively to a song and appreciate its production. Needless to say, I turned out to have the same fascination for music, and I’ve long enjoyed researching the evolution of rock music across different genres and decades. Combined with my love of cartoon animation, it was only a matter of time before Rock & Roar was conceived in my head.

I first began to develop Rock & Roar as an art school student in 2012, and I’m excited to finally begin illustrating the comic and sharing it with readers in the summer of 2022.
